Alan Titchmarsh, All Saints Church, Bell Ringers, and King Athelstan: Question - What have they all got in common?

Sitting having my morning coffee with my wife, I was idly watching the television when Alan Titchmarsh introduced a feature on Bell Ringing. Having a number of “Campanologist” Masonic friends who are members of Clavis Lodge No 8585, I thought that I had better watch this, and when he said it was from All Saints Church at Kingston upon Thames, I became even more interested.
Low and behold during the feature our Tapestry of King Athelstan appeared in front of my eyes, as the Clergyman outlined the importance of the Church site and the “Seven Saxon Kings” who were crowned at Kingston upon Thames. If you did not see the programme, get it on catch up, and have look.
